Conservation vs. Efficiency: The IAQ Challenge for Cultural Institutions (online)

simiacci small

September 22 @ 11:00 – 12:45

Is preserving our cultural heritage incompatible with creating healthy, energy-efficient indoor environments? Or is it time to rethink the way we frame this debate?

Bringing together three perspectives – cultural institutions, indoor air quality experts, and market stakeholders- the webinar will explore the trade-offs, challenge existing assumptions, and discuss practical solutions to one of the key questions facing the cultural heritage sector.

The Horizon Europe project SIMIACCI aims to revolutionise indoor air quality management in Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums (GLAMs) by implementing innovative solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption while safeguarding cultural heritage.
